The Loomis Family

Brett Loomis, owner and founder of Loomis Property Services, LLC. back in 2006, is originally from Lakewood, New York, outside of Buffalo. It was while growing up in this region that he developed his love of nature and appreciation for the outdoors. While attending St. Lawrence University, Brett worked his way through college while holding down three jobs. One of these was serving as student manager in the athletic department where he was responsible for hiring and managing staff for athletic events and caring for day-to-day event operations. He also worked for a leading landscaping and horticultural group caring for the Chautauqua Institution, an award-winning, 300-acre community located in rural western New York adjoining Chautauqua Lake. He gained extensive experience caring for many homes and properties while ensuring the high standard of care for which the community was renowned.

Brett graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2004, majoring in sociology and government. He then moved to Lake Tahoe where he worked as an arborist specializing in all aspects of large tree removal and maintenance. He later returned eastward and was drawn to Vermont because of its natural beauty, New England lifestyle, and close relationships that had been formed while attending St. Lawrence University.

Brett lives in Stowe with his wife Erica and their daughter. His interests include recreational sports such as ice hockey and softball and spending time with his beautiful family. Brett is also an active supporter of his community, as well as an appointed member of the Stowe Recreation Commission.
